Calvin Klein Underwear, which is showing at Moda Lingerie & Swimwear in August, has announced England’s Laurence Hope as the winner of its ‘9 countries, 9 men, 1 winner’ model search competition, which saw finalists from nine European countries battle it out for a year’s contract with Select Model management.

Launched last August in celebration of Calvin Klein Underwear’s Steel product range, the competition invited hopefuls from around Europe to submit photos via the website, with the finalist in each country decided by public vote. The overall winner, who bags a trip for two to South Africa as well as the modelling deal, was decided by a panel which included former Calvin Klein Underwear model Jamie Dornan and head of Select’s menswear division Devon Parsons.
